Love Letters!

 

There is nothing we read more closely
than a letter from the one we love.
   
What to say, what to say...
Getting the ball rolling, assuming it's a ballpoint quill <:-o
 
 
You might wonder:
“Why show so many different pictures of the same thing?”
 
The answer is in this point from French novelist Marcel Proust:
“Only through art can we move outside ourselves and see how someone else perceives the universe, which differs from our universe, and whose landscapes would otherwise remain as unknown to us as those that might exist on the moon. There are, incidentally, very few depictions of MEN writing letters...

It makes you wonder how many of these were actual portraits,
or just purely from the imagination of the longing artist. ;-)

...the ennui sets in...
...but do not fret or fear or furrow your brow, for next week will be the lover's response!
